Role Overview
We are seeking a Freelance Graphic Designer to provide production-focused design support for a marketing team.
This role is primarily executional rather than strategic and involves applying established brand guidelines across a variety of digital and print assets.
The designer will work independently on assigned projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed. Workload will fluctuate based on project demands, making this an ideal role for a freelancer who values flexibility and may have other ongoing engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Produce high-quality graphic design assets aligned with existing brand standards
Adapt and resize creative assets for use across multiple platforms and formats
Design marketing materials such as:
Digital ads and web assets
Email templates
One-pagers, brochures, and flyers
Infographics and visual content
Event and trade show materials (e.g., banners, signage)
Apply visual concepts consistently across different channels and environments
Collaborate with marketing team members and external agencies as needed
Participate in occasional creative briefings, reviews, or collaboration sessions
Manage assigned projects independently while meeting deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong professional experience in graphic design (production-focused)
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Experience designing for both digital and print media
Ability to follow and apply established brand guidelines accurately
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Comfortable working independently in a freelance capacity
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (basic administrative usage)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Motion or basic animation design experience
Experience supporting marketing teams or agencies
Ability to adapt designs across multiple formats and use cases
Portfolio Requirement A design portfolio is required and will be a key factor in candidate evaluation
Portfolio should demonstrate strength in production design, branding, and marketing assets
Additional Information
This is not an instructional design role
Tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate are not required
Weekly hours are project-based and may range significantly depending on workload
Candidates may hold other freelance or part-time roles alongside this engagement
