Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Assistant Designer at The Jream Company’s Los Angeles Metropolitan Area office. The Assistant Designer will support the design team in conceptualizing and developing apparel designs, creating technical sketches, and coordinating with manufacturing and logistics teams. Responsibilities include researching fashion trends, sourcing materials, organizing samples, preparing presentation boards, and maintaining design records. Collaboration with various teams to align designs with production requirements and timelines is a vital aspect of this role.

Qualifications

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

Understanding of apparel design, pattern making, and garment construction

Strong visual communication skills including preparing mood boards, color palettes, and technical drawings

Ability to conduct research on fashion trends, materials, and market demands

Organizational and multitasking skills for managing samples, projects, and materials

Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross‑functional teams

Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred

Previous professional experience or internships in fashion or apparel design is a plus
