As a Designer I, you will create basic cabinet or closet drawings and countertop quotes, applying design principles and product knowledge to customize designs based on customer feedback.

Essential Functions

Receive new bid requests from home builders, remodeling contractors, and homeowners and forward them to the Administrative Assistant for entry into the company system.

Complete basic cabinet designs using 2020 or Studio software.

Complete basic countertop quotes using CKF Pro.

Schedule appointments and assist customers with design selections and showroom visits.

Prepare plans for job‑site measurement and revise plans to accurately reflect final measurements to ensure product fit.

Complete orders and submit through the appropriate ordering system.

Verify product acknowledgements with the Design Team Lead to ensure order accuracy.

Work Environment This job operates in an office environment and regularly uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The position requires the occasional lifting of office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.

Required Education and Experience

Experience with 2020 or similar design software.

Ability to read and scale blueprints.

Strong attention to detail.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to maintain organization while working on multiple projects.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Education and Experience

1–3 years of experience in kitchen or closet design.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
