New Home Selection Designer
to join our team! We are looking for a candidate with an eye for design, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to move between different clients with a great deal of organization and attention to detail. Responsibilities
Assist new home customers with product selections and design ideas for their floors, wall tile, and countertops. Read through and interpret blueprints. Quote estimated pricing during the selection appointment. Set appropriate expectations about bidding timeline, product performance and installation standards. Fill out and review selection sheet for accuracy and completeness. Accurately complete builder portal conversions. Complete accurate diagrams that communicate the homeowner’s vision to the estimators and installers. Contact homeowners for overage approval. Maintain a clean and orderly showroom and work environment. Collaborate with team to support the overall process. Requirements
Design, sales, or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detailed-oriented, possess strong time management and interpersonal skills. Proficient in math, to be able to make calculations during appointments. Aptitude to think critically and problem solve. Proficient in various software applications including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications. Ability to develop and present design concepts. Prepare and participate in client presentations. Ability to work within parameters of a budget. Must be available to work during showroom hours, Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Preferred Experience
Interior Design degree or equivalent experience preferred. Knowledge of the building process Experience with flooring products Environment & Physical Requirements
