Interns work alongside practicing architects, planners, and designers, gain technical skills, and rotate through multiple market sectors. The Basics
Every Friday off Competitive hourly pay + $1,500 signing bonus Access to professional workstations, 3D printers, and modeling materials How the Summer Works
Week 1: Boot Camp
Revit training VCBO standards and workflows Building code and LEED overview Introduction to active VCBO projects Interns rotate through four sectors (3 weeks each): Civic & Recreation Higher Education K–12 Education Weekly rhythm:
Mondays: focused project and design work Tues–Thurs: embedded with sector teams on active projects Week 12: Final Presentation
Interns present their work to the office in a final design review. Presentation format is student‑selected (digital, print, or models). Who This Is For
