Summary
Inside sales position, serving professional contractors, industrial and resale clients. Very diverse customer base and product offering of Industrial Grade Tools, Supplies, Safety products and related Accessories and Parts. Take inbound calls, e‑mails and some walk‑in customers.
Duties
Taking inbound sales calls and responding to e‑mails from customers.
Researching and quoting product as requested by customers.
Creating quotes and orders in our E.R.P. system and communicating with customers via phone and/or e‑mail.
Co‑ordinating with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability and technical information required for accurate quotes.
Placing purchase orders with vendors when product needs to be expedited.
Acting as a back‑up to retail counter sales as needed.
Collaborating with the outside sales team to serve their customers as needed.
Completing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Computer literate with basic math skills; ability to use a calculator.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work on your feet for many hours a day, and navigate stairs.
High school graduate or equivalent; good reading and writing skills.
Strong communication skills and neat, groomed appearance at work.
Mechanical aptitude.
Nice To Haves
College degree.
Sales training and experience.
Industry experience.
Desire to grow, learn and be promoted.
Willingness to pitch in and help whenever and wherever needed.
