Job Description Assists with installing, repairing, and preventatively maintaining ceiling tiles and ceiling grids
Assists with installing, repairing, and preventatively maintaining fixed classroom seating, windows, window frames, and window screens
Assists with installing, repairing, and preventatively maintaining various types of flooring, vinyl and ceramic tiles, wall bases, and molding; assists with building counter tops
Assists with installing, repairing, and preventatively maintaining metal and wood doors and doorframes, mortise locks, hinges, exit devices, door closers, handicapped door operators, and other door hardware
Assists with pouring, forming, and finishing concrete; laying block and brick; and repairing plaster
Supports other trades and contractors; cleans/maintains shop and all related equipment
Operates UF vehicle (truck)
State of Florida Class E operator license (required)
Criminal background check (required)
Post-offer health assessment (required)

Expected Salary $17.00 Hourly

Ability to move or lift weights (such as ladders, tools, and equipment) weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb
Ability to reach above shoulders frequently
Ability to kneel
Ability to bend repeatedly
Ability to pull and push repetitively
