LHH is seeking an experienced

Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

to join our clients Atlanta team! This role offers a hybrid work schedule (4/1) and a comprehensive benefits package. If you have a strong background in commercial real estate transactions and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Draft and prepare documents necessary for commercial real estate sales and loan transactions as requested by attorneys.

Organize, review, and maintain all documents and research for attorney review and matter files.

Conduct and document Title Abstracts and/or Tax reviews.

Manage all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including sales, leases, loans, assignments, closings, escrow transfers, and transaction reporting.

Handle post-closing tasks, including recording, issuing title policies, and preparing certificates of title.

Prepare entity formation documents and annual filings.

Research and review relevant information for cases, clients, or transactions through online and document-based research.

Maintain accurate records and track work performed in client billing and matter management systems.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and practice.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workloads across multiple attorneys.

Proficient in researching property, ownership records, and transaction histories across jurisdictions.

Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Nuance, Adobe, and legal document management systems such as iManage or WorkShare.

Experience supporting a variety of commercial real estate transactions and filings.

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm setting.

Hands-on experience with title searches and commercial real estate matters.

Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
