We’re looking for a full-time, in-house Content Creator to join our LA team and help scale our video output. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a sharp creative eye.
Responsibilities
Shooting
Shoot high-quality video and photos with all of our key product lines (X series, Ace series, GO series, Antigravity, and more). Understand camera settings, composition, and how to work with athletes, influencers, and actors. Familiarity with video shooting and lighting equipment. Use innovative shot language and editing techniques to create visual stories that align with the brand's tone. Align with internal media and product marketing teams in advance of each production to ensure key product selling points and shot requirements are met and included in production materials. Become an expert in Insta360 products. Stay up to date with the entire Insta360 product line and all product features. Editing
Edit a variety of content, including short form social media content, long form docu-style YouTube content, tutorials, ads, and more. Ingest, organize, log, and backup all assets and projects. Maintain clean folder structures, projects, and sequences so that projects can be easily shared or revisited. Find and add music, sound effects, simple graphics, color, and transitions. Quality Control: Responsible for the overall video logic, rhythm, music, etc., controlling the overall style and packaging effects of the final product, ensuring that all video content complies with Brand Guidelines, and maintaining a high level of quality. Feedback Integration: Actively accept feedback and make revisions to ensure the final product meets the requirements. Must be familiar with Adobe Suite (Premiere + Photoshop mainly, others are a bonus) General
Work with in-house creative team to brainstorm new video concepts and series. Work closely with producer to set realistic project timelines, ensuring things will be delivered on time Make suggestions when you see areas that need improvement (creatively, logistically or otherwise.) Travel domestically and internationally for shoots, events, productions, and more. Must be comfortable with adjusting working hours to accommodate shoot days, events, travel jobs, and communication with the team in China. Must possess the ability to collaborate and communicate efficiently with a greater team to ensure tasks are delivered on time. Required Experience
1+ years experience in creating video content. Excellent project management and organization skills with the ability to multitask and maintain deadlines. Ability to work closely with a large remote team. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal English communication skills. Familiarity or interest in action sports productions and using action cameras. Bonus Skills (not required)
Experience working on in-house brand video production team, agency, or a commercial production team. Knowledge of Insta360 Studio editing software and other video editing software. Please attach recent works or links to your works, and specify your role(s) in each video. These work examples should show your skills in both shooting and editing. We would love to see 360 or action camera footage if you have it, but that is not required.
