Key Responsibilities

Spot News:

Identify trending and newsworthy stories that captivate audiences and drive engagement.

Investigate & Report:

Research, analyze, and report on current events, industry trends, and compelling narratives.

Write & Edit:

Craft high-quality articles, features, and opinion pieces while maintaining journalistic integrity.

Audience-First Mindset:

Develop content strategies that grow readership and enhance user engagement.

Feature & Long-Form Content:

Write in-depth profiles, thought-provoking analyses, and editorial pieces that fit Hustle Magazine’s tone and style.

Research & Interviews:

Conduct thorough investigations, including interviews with industry leaders and data-driven reporting.

Collaboration:

Work closely with editors and the creative team to refine story ideas and ensure top-quality content.

Trend Spotting:

Monitor emerging trends across social media, news outlets, and industry platforms to pitch timely stories.

Content Review:

Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency with Hustle Magazine’s voice.

Who You Are

Trend Spotter:

Social media savvy and naturally skilled at identifying and creating engaging stories.

Passionate Storyteller:

Strong writing, editing, and research skills with a keen eye for detail.

Journalism Background:

A degree (or equivalent experience) in Journalism, Communications, or related fields.

Self-Starter:

Ability to work independently while also excelling in a collaborative team environment.

Digital-Savvy:

Familiar with CMS platforms, SEO best practices, and social media strategies.

Multimedia Skills (Bonus):

Photography, video production, or podcasting experience is a plus.
