We are seeking an experienced Associate Director – Qualitative Research to lead high-quality custom research engagements within the Media & Technology sector. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on insight delivery, client leadership, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end qualitative research projects including IDIs, focus groups, online communities, and product/hall tests
- Act as the primary point of contact for small to mid-sized clients and support larger engagements
- Design discussion guides, moderate sessions, and oversee fieldwork quality
- Analyze qualitative data and translate findings into actionable insights
- Develop reports and present insights to senior stakeholders
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and profitability
- Support new business through proposals and pitches
- Mentor and develop junior researchers
- Drive adoption of technology, automation, and AI-enabled research tools
Requirements
- Extensive experience in qualitative research or insights consulting
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent storytelling and presentation abilities
- Proven leadership and project management experience
