Job Description
Business Development Officer – Capital Raising with Private Equity & Venture Capital Funds. We pay a percentage of our Retainers + Success Fees + Profit Sharing Bonus. This position leads to a Managing Director position!
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- As a BDO you will be working on 5 funds at a time and achieve a 7 figure Bonus!
- Develop, maintain, & grow effective key relationships with Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds & Hedge Funds.
- Be responsible for all aspects of Marketing the Funds we raise capital for to RIA's, Family Offices, Fund of Funds, Private Banks, Insurance companies, Endowments & Foundations.
- Ensure growth through proper Distribution Channels, direct contact, warm calls and managing all business development activities that will grow our Capital Raising Business & ensure these activities are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy.
- Come from a Strong Sales background in Investment Banking or Capital Raising and use to a eat what you kill background, Plus he/she should be Series 79 or 82 plus a 63 Licensed.
- Develop relationships with a Great Rolodex and be Hungry if you are going to make 7 figures!
- Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer – John Denes.
- External relationships: Private Equity Funds & Hedge Funds and New Funds.
- Internal relationships: The Business Development Team, Senior Management.
- Manage the Overall Business Development Functions, impact the profitability of the company through proper Private Equity & Hedge Fund Contacts developing results in new business development for REO Capital.
- Support the overall process of Capital Raising by calling & emailing clients with funds we are working on.
- Develop new leads with other Private Equity Firms, Venture Capital Firms, & Hedge Fund Firms for future business & existing business.
- Ensure expeditious and effective marketing, and planning through proper Calls.
Qualifications
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Familiar with Fundraising for Private Equity, Venture Capital or Hedge Funds.
- Strong phone skills – required.

- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Work on Rolodex of Wealth Management firms, Family Offices etc... daily with emails & calls.
- Have experience in Business Development or Capital Raising and already have your Series 79 & 63 License or pass the Series 82 and Series 63 Securities Licenses (Looking for Candidates already Licensed!).
- Additional: Should have Series 82 and 63 Securities Licenses! Or already have the Series 7 & 63 Licenses!
Compensation & Benefits
Success Fees = $10,000,000 annually for completing Five Capital Raises + $25,000 Profit Sharing Plan Bonus Annually for a Total annual Comp package up to $3,325,000.
Hours & Location
Hours: 9-5 pm + Traveling when necessary. Location: Los Angeles – REMOTE!
