Director of Engineering

Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical. We have a nationwide client base and offer services in temporary and direct hire placements.

Responsibilities

• Led a team of engineers to ensure precision part and product designs aligned with CNC machining standards and manufacturability requirements
• Developed and implemented engineering and manufacturing processes to optimize production methods and ensure operational efficiency
• Collaborated with key domestic and international suppliers to address design inquiries and implement refinements that enhanced material quality
• Supporting sales efforts as the technical SME
• Led the design and development of innovative, custom products in response to emerging market trends and specific customer needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, PE a plus.
• At least 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/machining environment
• Experience in engineering leadership role
• Expert level proficiency with SolidWorks, familiar with MasterCam
• Proficiency with GD&T
• Background in manufacturing and machining environments
• Strong understanding of machining and fabrication processes, including the operation of lathes and mills, welding techniques, and specialized applications involving stainless steel
• Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams, spearheading continuous improvement initiatives, and consistently delivering operational excellence
