Project Management
- Track progress of strategic objectives (KPIs) across internal Breakthrough teams (including Global Responsibility staff and internal collaborators)Oversee ALIGN‑T1D day‑to‑day program delivery, including assigning tasks and responsibilities across stakeholders, outlining milestones, and ensuring accountability across tasks
- Manage day‑to‑day relationship/contract with third‑party consultant to ensure ALIGN‑T1D implementation across LMIC countries and support the Alliance’s Secretariat, including shadowing the team
- Ensure documentation of program decisions, learnings, and best practices for institutional memory and communicating progress with ALIGN T1D funders.
Funder & Partner Engagement
- Support the implementation of ALIGN T1D governance structures, including grantee selection, Strategy Steering Group voting, and partnership giving, in collaboration with the Associate Vice President of Global Responsibility, internal Breakthrough T1D teams, external partners, and third‑party Secretariat support
- Translate Ministry of Health concept notes and known landscape gaps into targeted funder proposals
- Oversee development of funder communications, agendas, and outputs
- Liaise between funders and Grants Management team to ensure funding is collected and distributed to meet ALIGN‑T1D strategy and accommodate funder needs and restrictions.
Strategy Development & Implementation
- Co‑manage day‑to‑day relationship with in‑country working groups and grantee partners alongside third‑party implementation consultant.
- Oversee grantee selection and management, including alignment with funder criteria पत्रकारैर and pre‑screening grantees.
- With partners, continuously update and improve in‑country goals and programs to meet emerging needs and outcomes.
Experience & Requirements
- 7‑10 or more years’ experience in global health, international development, or public health, including work in LMIC settings.
- Knowledge of type one diabetes or other non‑communicable diseases (NCDs) in LMICs.
- Understanding of health systems, policy, and implementation science.
- Track record working on large, multi‑stakeholder programs from design through implementation.
- Experience translating technical health priorities into actionable strategies and fundable proposals.
- Comfort navigating between funders, governments, and implementing partners.
- Strong people and 3rd‑party consultant manager with experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Experience building start‑up teams and initiatives preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30 percent of the time, as required.
Education
- Master’s degree in public health, global health, international development, or a related field.
Salary
Targeted Salary Range: $140‑160 K.
