Social Media Content Creator Job at Amazon in New York

Are you passionate about creating engaging social media content? We are looking for a talented Social Media Content Creator to drive the production of exciting content for Zappos and Shopbop. In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating social media photo and video shoots, managing event coverage, and collaborating with brand partners to develop captivating content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute social media content shoots from start to finish, including developing shot lists and managing on-set activities.
• Foster relationships with external photography, videography teams, creative agencies, and production vendors.
• Create and maintain detailed content production schedules and budgets.
• Ensure all content meets platform-specific requirements and aligns with brand guidelines.
• Direct photography and videography teams during shoots and events to maximize quality and engagement.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams (styling, creative, marketing) to ensure content needs are met and executed effectively.
• Oversee the post-production process, including selecting photos/videos, editing guidance, and asset organization.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional marketing experience (non-internship).
• A Bachelor's degree.
• Strong understanding of content production processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a major brand or entertainment company in project or production management.
• Background in e-commerce, start-ups, advertising, or commercial production.

The base salary range for this position is as follows: 66,300.00 - 113,700.00 USD annually. Your compensation package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
