
Business Unit Director, Freestyle Manufacturing

As the Business Unit Director (Freestyle Manufacturing), you will serve as the "mini‑CEO" of the Freestyle Business Unit, fully accountable for production performance, people leadership, and profitability. The BU Director leads end‑to‑end P&L ownership, operational excellence, and cross‑functional alignment to deliver safe, high‑quality, and cost‑effective manufacturing outcomes. Additionally, the Director drives customer satisfaction; oversees production operations, major transformation initiatives, and champions continuous improvement to meet growth and profit goals.
Key Responsibilities and Position-Related Duties:
Production Leadership
Lead execution of all Freestyle production activities to ensure consistent output and asset reliability.
Ensure production lines operate according to safety standards, KORE requirements, and GMP expectations.
Align labor, materials, and equipment to meet throughput and USLE targets.
Partner with Maintenance and Engineering on downtime, root‑cause analysis, and equipment performance.
Financial Leadership
Own full P&L performance for the Freestyle Business Unit.
Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost‑control strategies.
Operations Management
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure consistent, efficient, and reliable production.
Optimize labor, materials, and equipment utilization to meet USLE throughput targets.
Ensure operational continuity, risk mitigation, and on‑time delivery to customers.
Strategy & Growth
Drive execution of the BU’s digital roadmap and key innovation initiatives.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team that embodies accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Build succession strength and leadership capability across the organization.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, results‑driven culture.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure full adherence to KORE quality standards, ISO safety protocols, and corporate regulatory requirements.
Promote a culture committed to zero‑defect quality, proactive risk prevention, and safe operations.
Continuous Improvement
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, and other CI tools to improve productivity and eliminate waste.
Lead modernization and transformation initiatives to strengthen operational performance.
Champion data‑driven decision‑making and operational excellence.

Education and Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Life Science or related disciplineor equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of supply chain operations experience, preferably in the consumer‑packaged goods industry a plus.

Pay Range:
$137,000 - $164,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:

Annual Incentive reference value is a market‑based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
