We are seeking an experienced and visionary Strategic Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of high-impact marketing strategies and drive product innovation. They will focus on long-term strategy across Nylon Solutions, enabling a holistic view of how we will continue to revitalize the business and to ensure we are set to win. This role is responsible for overseeing market analysis, positioning, go‑to‑market strategies, and ensuring alignment between product offerings and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and hands‑on expertise in product lifecycle management and brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and product management strategies to drive business growth and market leadership. Align end market product portfolio with strategic intent in alliance with the Nylon leadership. Deliver on customer needs, on time and on budget must be fully aligned with business strategy and linked to operations with clear financial goals and be a champion of superior customer service levels. Help develop long term asset strategy for the Nylon portfolio in line with end market strategic direction, operational capabilities, and business imperatives
  • Product Management: Support all financial targets around revenue, profits, working capital, return on assets through forecasting and demand planning excellence managing sales outlook, inventory levels, and overall order to cash for the business, working with Integrated Supply Chain and Sales to ‘shape the demand’. Drive long term margin maximization actions in partnership with operations, supply chain, finance, and others. Utilize tool kit and analytical techniques to optimize sales mix for maximum profitability. Analyze mix for price‑margin maximization and implement actions
  • Strategic Marketing:
  • Go‑to‑Market Strategies: Oversee product launches, messaging, and campaigns to ensure strong market positioning and competitive differentiation.
  • Brand & Marketing Strategy: Develop compelling brand narratives, digital marketing plans, and multi‑channel strategies that enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Lead research efforts to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform product development and marketing strategies. Stay ahead of industry and competitive dynamics to define pricing and other commercial actions with agility; lead pricing guidance to sales
  • Sustainability: Leadership of the sustainability platform for Nylon Solutions, ensuring investments and strategy clearly aligned to current and future customer needs
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment of marketing and product strategies with business objectives.
  • Performance Metrics & Optimization: Define key performance indicators (KPIs), track campaign and product success, and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing marketing and product management team.
  • Product Development & Innovation: Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to shape product roadmaps and bring customer‑centric innovations to market.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in plastics and polymers, ideally in polyamides with knowledge of key end markets (fiber and filament, engineered plastics including auto, packaging and films).
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing, product management, or related leadership roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, brand positioning, and product lifecycle management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, dynamic industries such as technology, consumer goods, or SaaS (preferred).

The estimated base salary rate for the position is $168,500 to $252,700.

We offer a range of market‑competitive total rewards that include periodic pay rate adjustments based on market competitiveness. Hired applicants will be eligible for paid holidays, paid time off including vacation, eligibility to purchase company stock, tuition reimbursement, and a 401K with a competitive company match. Certain roles may be eligible for discretionary financial benefits such as incentive pay, equity awards, and participation in a deferred compensation plan.

The pay range, incentives and benefits listed above are general guidelines only and not a guarantee of total compensation or benefits. The final offer will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, the responsibilities of the job, experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as the job location, applicability of a collective bargaining agreement, length of service, internal equity, and alignment with market data. The incentive pay is dependent on your role, business results and individual performance. All aspects of total rewards offered are subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
