Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee

Duties
- Achieve and maintain quality standards to include national accreditation. Develops on-going time-lines to ensure program practices support Army CYS and national accreditation standards.
- Ensure that all children/youth are supervised closely at all times to reduce the potential for child abuse, provide accountability for the number of children and staff in each classroom, and reduce the risk of safety incidents with children/youth
- Oversee yearly budget and month to month execution of CYS funding in relation to execution of available funds or reduction in spending based on program priorities.
- Ensures accurate prompt customer service
- Works cooperatively with other CYS Managers to ensure seamless service and continuity of quality options for all children and youth. Serves as member of the CYS Program Plan Team to develop written strategies for program improvement.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must have current health assessment, which documents good mental and physical health, freedom from communicable disease, and immunizations IAW current Army and DoD policy including annual influenza vaccinations.
- A valid passport is required for travel within the United States and to overseas locations.
- Satisfactory performance, successful completion of training requirements and demonstrated on the job competency is required.
- Travel to on and off post locations required.
