Director of Business Development

Mercury GSE Maintenance LLC is a leading provider of ground support equipment (GSE) rental, leasing, and full-service solutions within the aviation industry. We support airlines, MROs, ground handlers, and government agencies with reliable equipment, flexible solutions, and responsive service.

The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth through new business acquisition and the expansion of existing customer relationships. This role requires a disciplined, consultative sales approach and the ability to engage effectively with senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with a primary focus on revenue generation
• Build and maintain relationships with executive-level stakeholders, including C-suite leadership
• Develop and present tailored leasing and rental solutions aligned with customer needs
• Drive account growth through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling strategies
• Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline within CRM systems
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reporting, and market intelligence

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, equipment leasing, or relationship-based sales
• Demonstrated success in selling to senior executives and closing complex transactions
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
• Experience in aviation, ground support equipment, or related industries preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to execute a consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach
