AG Jeans is looking for an experienced Director of Ecommerce to join our corporate team! The position will be based out of our corporate office in Los Angeles.

This role is a full-time, on-site position at our headquarters in South Gate.

Role Overview:

The Director of Ecommerce will be responsible for the ecommerce P&L, as well as the overall website experience from strategy to implementation. The role will collaborate closely with the marketing, design, and production teams to ensure seamless site operation and customer experience. This key leadership position will report to the SVP of Operations and the President.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all P&L for agjeans.com
  • Responsible for leading the Company’s ecom team in all aspects of operations, initiatives and technological implementations for the agjeans.com and agjeansoutlet.com sites
  • Responsible in leading a site redesign, as needed
  • Oversee all digital marketing elements such as display ads, SEO, emails, and affiliates
  • Partner closely with the Head of Marketing to align marketing strategies for new collections, categories, and collaborations
  • Work closely with the Design Team to ensure agjeans.com is offering the appropriate product assortments to its customers
  • Collaborate closely with the Production Team to provide the appropriate product flow and production flow to the site
  • Generate monthly reporting for key executives with all relevant KPIs pertaining to revenue, digital marketing, ROAS, and profitability
  • Stay up-to-date with technological improvements and offer regular updates, strategy and suggestions for improvements to the sites

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, ecommerce, or equivalent work experience
  • 12+ years of experience in the ecommerce industry
  • 5+ years of director level experience for contemporary/luxury apparel brand
  • Experience in both acquisition (e.g. Driving qualified traffic, new customer outreach programs, email acquisition efforts, etc.) and retention marketing (e.g. Conversion optimization, A/B testing, Customer engagement, etc.)
  • Experience with all facets of paid marketing is a must. Marketing channels include but are not limited to SEM, Display, Affiliate, Retargeting, SEO and Email Marketing
  • The understanding of all key performance indicators such as conversion, ROAS, sessions, cart abandonment rate, add-to-cart ratio, checkout funnel, cost per acquisition and cost per conversion
  • Strong leader with exceptional organizational, delegation, and time management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of P&L and financial analysis
  • Must be a critical thinker and excellent communicator in working with both internal and external resources (written and verbal)
  • Excellent ability to multitask and manage complex projects
