We’re looking for a highly motivated, analytical, and execution‑focused professional to join our Americas Financing COO team. In this role, you will support financing, delivery, change initiatives, and risk management across the Global Markets Financing business, working closely with senior Business Managers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support front office stakeholders locally and globally in the implementation and delivery of key projects and initiatives, including business‑driven changes impacting Trading and Sales functions.
- Develop a strong working understanding of the Financing business, including products, clearing and booking models, front‑to‑back flows, revenues, costs, and key strategic initiatives.
- Support coordination with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Legal to help deliver clearing outcomes, address issues, and contribute to process efficiencies.
- Work closely with team members to support the implementation and maintenance of the risk and control framework for the Americas Financing business.
- Assist with monitoring, analysis, and preparation of materials related to financial and operational performance for management review.
- Support senior Business Managers and business heads by gathering requirements, tracking actions, and progressing initiatives aligned to business priorities.
- Assist in the identification, analysis, and documentation of risks and issues, supporting reviews and remediation efforts in line with regulatory and operational risk standards.
- Contribute to the Business Management portfolio, including support for strategic initiatives, front‑to‑back controls, regulatory deliverables, and issue tracking.
Salary
- New York: the salary range for this role is $96,250 to $108,750.
- The expected salary range for this role is $96,250 to $108,750 based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team
You’ll be working in the Americas Financing COO team in New York. The team is responsible for clearing oversight and business management of Financing products within Global Markets, including Capital Markets Financing, Prime Brokerage, and Clearing.
The team focuses on ensuring the business operates effectively by managing risk, supporting profitability, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. This is a broad financing role spanning elements of strategy delivery, analytics, budgeting support, performance monitoring, regulatory impact, front‑to‑back controls, market structure topics, and technology implementation. You will work closely with Business Managers and gain exposure to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
Your expertise
- Relevant experience or strong interest in Business Management, COO, Operations, or Management Consulting.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and support senior stakeholders.
- Ability to learn new processes quickly, evaluate issues, and prioritize tasks with guidance.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and delivering output in a timely manner.
- Analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and prepare clear summaries to support decision‑making.
- Written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at different levels.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong attention to detail and presentation quality.
- Organized and methodical approach to problem solving, with a willingness to learn and develop sound judgment.
- Support ETD execution and clearing activities, including assisting with monitoring front to back processes, tracking exchange and clearing house changes, and supporting issue management and control remediation efforts.
