Connect with Indivior on LinkedIn: The Area Sales Director develops and implements strategic plans for the Pacific West Area, delivers results per Indivior specifications, oversees recruitment, selection, and evaluation of Clinical Sales Specialists, trains and coaches the team, and manages operations across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, North Dakota, Montana, and Alaska. The role requires meeting revenue goals, managing expenses, and communicating with field representatives and company stakeholders while ensuring compliance with Indivior policies.

Essential Functions

  • Deliver Indivior goals/results for assigned area such as sales, market share, and targeted calls.
  • Responsible for expense management and profitability, monitoring ROI.
  • Participate in and contribute to accomplishments of business objectives.
  • Develop and implement business plans, innovate ideas, strategies, marketing plans, and budgets ensuring compliance with Indivior policies.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor Clinical Sales Specialists’ assignments to achieve objectives, providing ongoing feedback.
  • Conduct required meetings with area members.
  • Collaborate with National Account Directors and HR to reduce turnover and vacancies.
  • Implement and monitor all field‑based training.
  • Conduct routine field visits with each Clinical Sales Specialist and Institutional Specialist, utilizing coaching to improve selling skills, product knowledge, and effectiveness.
  • Develop sales team, provide counseling and career development planning.
  • Maintain required technical expertise and competitive product knowledge.
  • Respond to changing conditions to encourage professional relationships.
  • Ensure field sales personnel store all company‑supplied equipment and promotional material per regulations.
  • Adhere to Fleet policies for self and team.
  • Overnight travel as required.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

BS/BA degree required; an advanced degree a plus in addition to 5+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/healthcare or related experience.

Experience

  • 3+ years in a people‑manager role.
  • Relative experience in related disease space.
  • Injectable experience preferred.
  • Specialty Pharmacy and Specialty Distributor experience preferred.
  • Experience selling complex specialty and buy‑and‑bill products preferred.
  • Previous experience selling a drug device or technology that required a change in physician protocol preferred.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Computer proficient.

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

License/Certifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company requirements.

Other Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs as necessary.
  • Travel long distances by car or other modes.

Travel

  • Domestic and international travel as required; overnights as required > 50%.

Competencies / Conduct

  • Ability to recruit, retain and develop highest quality staff; manage turnover and vacancy process.
  • Ability to maximize area profitability and ensure compliance.
  • Record of positive relationship management skill.
