
Development Director
Youth Homes, Missoula, MT, United States
The Development Director leads and manages all fundraising and development initiatives to support Youth Homes' mission, programs and services. This includes overseeing corporate donations, grants, planned giving, special events and community engagement. The Development Director is responsible for guiding the development team, coordinating with communications staff, and engaging the Board of Directors to ensure successful revenue generation and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications
Minimum five years experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or related field, including staff supervision
Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field, advance degree preferred
Strong leadership, organizational and strategic planning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to cultivate donor relationships, write grants and lead fundraising initiatives
Knowledge of fundraising software, donor management systems and best practices in nonprofit development
Ability to work collaboratively with board members, staff and community partners
Wage and Benefits
Base Salary at $55,000 - $70,000 DOE
