Job Summary We are a busy independent automotive repair shop looking for a dependable service writer to join our team. This role serves as the main point of contact between customers and technicians, helping to ensure repairs are communicated clearly and the shop runs smoothly
No automotive experience? We're willing to train the right person with strong customer service and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers and discuss vehicle concerns * Write and manage repair orders * Communicate estimates and recommended repairs * Provides updates to customers on repair progress * Schedule appointments and coordinate with technicians * Process payments and close repair orders
Qualifications
* Strong customer service and communication skills * Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Proficient with computers and basic office programs is a must * Automotive knowledge is a plus but not required
