This role is responsible for managing and strengthening partnership including overall P&L responsibilities for this important block of business. The Executive Director will work closely with HCSC’s Growth Office and Sales & Account Management to support the overall client experience and satisfaction with the Luminare Health platform. The Executive Director will ensure operational excellence, support client escalations, interact with brokers/consultants as needed and participate in new business presentations for key opportunities. The Executive Director will be viewed as the relationship owner driving alignment across both organizations (LH and HCSC) and will interact with cross-functional teams including Finance, Strategy, Product, Growth Capabilities, Architecture, and subsidiary governance at HCSC and/or Luminare Health as needed.**Job Responsibilities:****Relationship Ownership*** Act as the primary point of contact for HCSC, fostering trust and transparency. Navigate both organizations effectively, manage escalations, and provide clear next steps. Demonstrate sensitivity to urgency and maintain proactive communication.* Develop and maintain a strong rapport with HCSC; responsible and accountable for the overall success of the in-market relationship.* Serve as the Executive representing Luminare Health as needed with clients and brokers* Participate in new or renewing business representing Luminare Health in partnership with HCSC’s Sales and Account Management.* Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships at multiple levels within HCSC, collaborating with designated Operations resources.* Develop, edit, and negotiate terms of enterprise-level contracts, ensuring alignment with Luminare Health’s broader revenue strategy and compliance standards.* Understand contractual terms and set standards for future use.* Partner with HCSC leadership to resolve issues and serve as the escalation point for book-of-business concerns, escalating as needed.* Draft business cases that support more efficient and effective interactions across the model.* Develop and maintain deep proficiency in existing and new product/service offerings, making informed recommendations to guide and lead HCSC.* Drive problem-solving and ensure timely issue resolution.* Deliver regularly scheduled (monthly/quarterly) results, initiative updates, and action plans. Clearly document issues, root causes, and explore options from both HCSC and Luminare Health perspectives.**Operational Responsibilities*** Understand and oversee back-office processes to ensure seamless execution; identify and resolve operational challenges through critical thinking and problem-solving.* Manage and continuously improve processes for implementing and terminating products for clients.* Assist with knowledge management by creating guides for internal and external users; facilitate development of FAQs and communications to clarify processes.* Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and communicate updates effectively.* Troubleshoot and collaborate on model design flaws, providing analysis and remediation. Offer leadership and consultation in developing and executing rules of engagement, contract expectations, revenue growth strategies, and project plans.* Deliver regularly scheduled (monthly/quarterly) results, initiative updates, and action plans; clearly document issues, root causes, and explore options from both HCSC and Luminare Health perspectives.* Develop and share KPI reporting with internal stakeholders on a regular cadence, highlighting performance trends and opportunities for improvement.* Review performance metrics and push back when necessary to protect mutual interests; drive accountability and continuous improvement across deliverables.**Ensures Financial and Strategic Alignment*** Understand pricing models and how they integrate into overall revenue objectives.* Provide actionable insights to optimize financial performance and strategic outcomes.* Support HCSC Underwriting and Strategy teams in refining go-forward direction.* Maintain deep knowledge of cost factors across medical benefit offerings and identify creative solutions to reduce administrative burden.* Partner with internal teams (Finance, Strategy, Product, Growth Capabilities, Architecture) to ensure alignment and execution; lead governance discussions as required.* Develop and maintain expertise in existing and new product/service offerings, making informed recommendations to guide and influence HCSC.* Create strategies that drive sales growth, retention, client satisfaction, expense management, and profitable expansion of the HCSC book of business.* Ensure transparency of the sales pipeline through weekly reviews and share updates with key internal stakeholders.* Coordinate and finalize prospective client RFP responses in collaboration with HCSC sales leads and Luminare Health’s proposal team.**Required Experience:*** 7-10 years of self-funded or insurance industry experience,* 3+ years Client Management, product development or related experience* Bachelor degree* Project Management: prioritizes process, establishes and meet deadlines, leads diverse group of individuals to meet time critical deadlines and complete tasks* Communication Skills: demonstrates effectiveness in both written and verbal communication skills, and effectively persuade, shares information in concise manner.**Preferred Experience:*** Health care payer / TPA industry background a plus* Six Sigma* Queue management.* Management consulting experience* Prior experience working with brokers and/or benefits consultants\*Candidate must reside in IL, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, NC, OK, PA, TX, TN, or WI to be considered\*#LI-TR1INJLF## EEO Statement:We are an Equal Opportunity Employment employer dedicated to providing a welcoming environment where the unique differences of our employees are respected and valued. The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience.
