What you do You are a senior product leader who will define and scale our Asset Flexibility Commercialization portfolio. You will own the product strategy, with a focus on monetizing flexible assets across wholesale and ancillary service markets in Germany and across Europe. Combining deep market understanding with strong commercial judgment and product leadership, you will build solutions that create measurable customer value and sustainable revenue growth.
Define and execute the product strategy for our Asset Flexibility Commercialization portfolio, including Route to Market and Trading as a Service offerings, to maximize the value of battery storage systems and other flexible assets across Day Ahead, Intraday, and ancillary service markets.
Own the commercial success of the portfolio across the full product lifecycle, including business case development, pricing strategy, packaging, margin expansion, and long‑term scalability.
Continuously assess market developments, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics across European energy markets to identify new product opportunities and growth potential.
Ensure that product decisions are grounded in a strong understanding of market design, dispatch logic, bidding strategies, operational constraints, and revenue stacking opportunities.
Partner closely with Trading, Sales, Operations, and Software Development to translate market and customer requirements into robust, scalable product solutions aligned with company strategy.
Build and strengthen a high performing product organization with clear ownership, effective decision making, and strong cross‑functional alignment to enable high quality execution at speed. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, fostering a culture of accountability, commercial focus, and continuous improvement.
Who you are
You bring leadership experience in product management, with a proven ability to scale complex software products or commercially sophisticated business models in energy, trading, or adjacent sectors.
You have deep expertise in European energy markets and a strong command of trading mechanisms in Germany and across Europe. Experience with battery energy storage systems, route to market models, or flexibility commercialization is a strong advantage.
You have a strong track record of building, leading, and developing high performing cross‑functional product teams and creating the structures required for scale, accountability, and execution excellence.
You combine entrepreneurial drive with strong commercial acumen and a consistent focus on customer value, business performance, KPIs, and data‑driven decision making.
You bring outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to align senior stakeholders across commercial, operational, and technical functions.
You are fluent in German and English. Additional language skills are considered a plus.
