About the Role Lumacast is seeking a Video Producer to join our Creative and Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone whose strongest skill is editing and visual storytelling. Someone who can ingest raw footage, understand the intended outcome, and cut it together with a clear sense of pacing, sequencing, and visual storytelling with minimal redirection. You will work closely with the Head of Brand & Marketing and collaborate with our Brand Designer to ensure all video content aligns with Lumacast’s visual language across platforms. The visual language is established — your job is to work fluently within it and bring the same level of craft and intentionality to every cut. A valued part of this role includes both post-production and content capture. The right candidate is comfortable capturing quick footage on a phone when needed, as well as setting up professional gear for more intentional productions. Key Responsibilities Video Production Edit and produce long-form video content, including product overview videos and cinematic project edits for YouTube and other platforms Manage the full production workflow, from ingesting raw footage, to final export Work independently through edits while identifying natural review checkpoints Color grade mixed camera footage, primarily from Canon camera systems Produce short-form content such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts optimized for platform performance Manage sound design, including music selection, sound effects, and AI voiceover integration using Artlist Content Capture Capture shop floor, behind-the-scenes, and makers content for marketing and storytelling Determine when to move quickly with mobile capture vs. setting up professional camera gear Operate or assist with Canon cinema cameras (R5, R5C, C80) when needed Maintain organized media management for captured footage Production Collaboration Collaborate with the Brand Designer to incorporate motion graphics, animated elements, lower thirds, and overlays into video content Ensure all video content aligns with Lumacast’s visual identity and brand standards Submit content for review at appropriate stages before publishing What We’re Looking For Strong editing instincts with clear examples of pacing, sequencing, and visual storytelling Portfolio or reel required demonstrating editing and production capability Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve Experience color grading Log footage and mixed camera workflows Familiarity with Canon cinema camera file formats (R5, R5C, C80) is a strong advantage Experience producing both long-form and short-form content Comfort working with music, sound effects, and voiceover to complete a cut Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication and collaborative mindset Production-first mentality with capture capability (shooting experience is a plus) Someone who takes genuine pride in the craft and holds their own work to a high standard Why Join Lumacast Work with a design-driven brand that prioritizes visual quality in everything it produces Develop your craft within a clear visual system and brand identity Gain hands-on experience working with professional cinema equipment in a real production environment Collaborate with a small, focused team committed to doing excellent work Your work will be seen by leading architects, designers, and industry professionals Competitive hourly compensation based on experience Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person Additional Details Pay rate $30-$40 per hour based on experience Full time 40 hours We look forward to hearing from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
