
Software Sales Executive (Southeast/Central/Southwest)

Symmetrio is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in oncology software solutions. Our client develops advanced informatics tools that support cancer care delivery in leading health systems and academic medical centers across the U.S. We’re looking for a high-performing Software Sales Executive to lead sales efforts in the Central, Southeast and Southwest regions.
In this remote, field-based role, you’ll manage a territory with significant activity, selling innovative software that directly supports clinicians, improves workflows, and helps cancer centers deliver more effective care.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and needs assessment to proposal, negotiation, and close
Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level, IT, clinical, and administrative decision-makers
Drive new business with hospitals, academic centers, and oncology-focused care providers
Partner with internal teams for product demonstrations, RFP responses, and implementation supportMaintain detailed records in CRM and deliver accurate pipeline and forecast updates
Base + Commission OTE $230K
7+ years of software sales experience, preferably in healthcare or life sciences
Experience selling into complex healthcare environments (IDNs, cancer centers, health systems)
Understanding of oncology workflows, radiotherapy systems, or medical software preferred
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota in a consultative sales environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel throughout the region up to 50%
