JOB DESCRIPTION Position Overview: The Database Specialist is responsible for the upkeep of the online donor database, Bloomerang. This position includes cleaning up data, establishing uniform database policies and procedure over time and verifying information as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Record donor gifts and transactions on a regular basis exceeding industry standard

Accurately input, update and maintain donor information in Bloomerang

Verify the accuracy of information and resolve any discrepancies

Create database policy and procedure for consistency in format and information

Follow data entry protocols to meet confidentiality and security standards

Qualifications

Prior experience in data entry or a similar role

Excellent typing speed and accuracy

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively

Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based platforms

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Physical Demands:

Work Location: Regularly required to sit, stand, climb stairs, walk for extended periods of time. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

Computer Use: Perform tasks involving typing and computer use

Work Environment:

Safety Protocols: Follow safety protocols, including the use of PPE, to minimize health risks.

Supplies: Cleaning supplies are utilized to help prevent the spread of cold and flu viruses, ensuring a healthier environment for everyone.
