StudioSC is an award-winning architecture firm located in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Our studio is very design focused with an emphasis on residential and mixed use development work with ground up and adaptive re-use projects. We take a critical approach to design and explore concepts thoroughly, before presenting solutions.
Qualifications ** Please note, we will only be reviewing applications that meet the qualifications listed below and have direct experience working in NYC.**
The available position is full-time with salary and benefits commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications. Self motivation is a must as we're looking for someone committed to learning and adding their unique perspective to our culturally diverse office. The minimum requirements for candidates are:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or interior architecture
Must have a strong design portfolio, with direct experience designing and working on interiors at different scales
3-6 years of experience in a NYC professional architecture & design office
Creative design skills and ability to translate design into drawings
A good communicator who can manage workflow and time well
Understanding multifamily residential projects is a plus
Strong computer skills listed below:
AutoCAD or Revit, knowing both is a plus
Sketchup is a must
Adobe InDesign, Photoshop
