Job Summary The individual must demonstrate experience with information systems with experience related to RF communications specifically with Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP) for Navy Fleet to include at least (5) years of hands‑on experience with CBSP systems. The individual must have experience with all CBSP shipboard communication systems and shore architecture including Commercial Teleports and Navy Designated Points of Presence. The individual shall demonstrate experience with proper distribution of Frequency Matrix’s (FM) and General Schedule of Events (GSOE) to operational commands.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide operational coordination of fleet bandwidth between Naval Network Warfare Command (NETWARCOM) and satellite providers
Act as the primary technical point of contact to resolve issues with leased space and terrestrial services
Conduct audits of GFE assets installed at commercial teleports
Conduct annual inspections of commercial teleports to ensure they continually meet contract requirements
Review and resolve incidences associated with mission activations/operations
Develop Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB) packages for various projects using NAVWAR endorsed Shore Installation Process Handbook
Qualifications and Skills Required knowledge and years of experience
