Concrete Coating Sales Representative
Full-Time | Wichita, Kansas (Base Salary + Commission)

Position Summary The Concrete Coating Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, building relationships with customers, and guiding clients through the concrete coating sales process from initial inquiry to project scheduling.
This role focuses on
consultative selling , helping customers understand coating options, recommending solutions that meet their needs, and coordinating with the installation team to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
The ideal candidate is motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working both in the field and through inbound leads to drive revenue growth for the Concrete Coatings Department.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new sales opportunities through inbound leads, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
Meet with residential and commercial customers to evaluate project needs and provide professional recommendations for concrete coating solutions.
Perform site visits to assess project conditions, take measurements, and determine appropriate coating systems.
Prepare and present clear, accurate proposals and pricing estimates to customers.
Educate customers on coating options, durability, maintenance, and benefits of Higgins Group systems.
Follow up with prospective customers to answer questions, address concerns, and close sales.
Maintain organized records of leads, estimates, and sales activity in company CRM or tracking systems.
Coordinate closely with installation crews and project supervisors to ensure accurate project scope and smooth scheduling.
Represent Higgins Group professionally during customer interactions, maintaining a high level of integrity and service.
Assist with marketing efforts including referrals, partnerships, home shows, and local events when needed.
Work toward meeting or exceeding division sales targets and revenue goals.
Qualifications
Prior experience in
sales, construction sales, home improvement sales, or contractor services
preferred.
Strong ability to build trust and communicate clearly with homeowners, property managers, and business owners.
Ability to evaluate job sites and understand basic construction or flooring conditions.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and follow up on multiple leads.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites and customer meetings.
Basic computer skills for preparing proposals, tracking leads, and managing customer communications.
Willingness to learn Higgins Group's coating systems, products, and installation processes.
