Skills and Competencies

5–10 years of experience in product management, solution development, or technical consulting with demonstrated fluency in AI-assisted development

Experience working with government or public-sector customers

Structured, analytical mindset with the ability to break down customer needs into clear milestones

Demonstrated ability to drive a solution from requirements to delivery and iteration

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, value-based messaging for non-technical and senior audiences

Understanding of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI concepts, including AI agents, prompt engineering, context management, and model context protocol (MCP)

Demonstrated hands‑on proficiency with AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot

Comfort operating in ambiguity with the ability to shift priorities as market or customer needs evolve

Proven ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Strategy teams

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills

Familiarity with public‑sector missions such as financial administration, economic development, security and intelligence, social services, or regulatory oversight

Experience building or shaping AI-powered or data‑driven solutions

Background in risk, compliance, sanctions screening, due diligence, or decision‑support platforms

Experience with rapid prototyping, design sprints, or product development approaches

Experience working in a matrixed, global organization

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field

Responsibilities This role oversees the lifecycle of government‑specific capabilities across Moody's AI agent and data platform portfolio, shaping and delivering solutions aligned to public‑sector missions.

Lead the solution roadmap for government-specific capabilities, including AI agents for investigation, sanctions screening, and due diligence

Partner with pre‑sales on customer engagements, leading technical discovery, solution workshops, and whiteboarding sessions to understand missions, workflows, and operational challenges

Translate customer needs into prioritized product specifications

Use AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to rapidly prototype solutions, validate hypotheses, demonstrate feasibility, and accelerate delivery

Partner closely with engineering to scope, build, and ship features with accountability for timelines and quality

Drive solution discovery through direct customer engagement, POCs, and design sprints to validate fit before committing engineering resources

Develop and deliver tailored demonstrations and solution narratives for government audiences

Translate market signals, customer insights, and regulatory requirements into actionable product priorities in collaboration with Strategy and Commercial teams

Ensure responsible AI deployment, governance documentation, and compliance aligned with government requirements

Lead solution delivery from concept through production, working embedded with engineering teams

Monitor solution performance, usage metrics, and customer outcomes for government deployments and iterate based on data

Document solution architectures, configurations, and best practices to support repeatability and scale across public‑sector customers

Champion an AI‑first mindset across the government segment, identifying opportunities to embed AI into workflows

Align with Government Commercial Strategy teams on delivery channel needs, market intelligence, and go‑to‑market priorities

Collaborate with Channel Partnerships and partner ecosystem stakeholders to ensure solution compatibility with partner‑led delivery

Provide domain expertise on government missions, procurement realities, and regulatory constraints to broader solution builder teams

About the Team You will join the C&G Product Builders team, which unites product vision with engineering excellence to deliver data, AI agents, and analytics solutions across Moody's corporate and government client base. The team operates in cross‑functional squads that own the full lifecycle from concept to production. In the government segment, you will work closely with sales, channel partnerships, and commercial strategy stakeholders to translate public‑sector missions into shipped capabilities. With strong growth goals and a global footprint, this team offers a dynamic environment defined by rapid prototyping, deep technical collaboration, and end‑to‑end ownership.

For US‑based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $171,100.00-$248,050.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full‑time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
