Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?

You drive the Mondelēz International sustainability agenda by working with the spend category team and suppliers to ensure there is a clear path and program in place that is relevant to the industry/category. Working with the spend category team, you make sure Mondelēz external commitments and expectations are embedded in sourcing strategies and deliverables. You foster relationships with external stakeholders and NGOs, deliver sustainability reports and act as the point person for procurement.

How you will contribute You will ensure deployment of Mondelēz International’s sustainable sourcing agenda. You will support our strategy and develop an effective implementation plan. You will also participate in conferences to help promote our brand and share our best practices with others. In addition to these contributions, you will improve how initiatives are tracked and how to use technology to maximize impact with the resources available. You will also:

Lead Sustainable Packaging pillar from a business perspective

partnering with RDQ on technical side, Procurement and BUs for implementation.

Develop overall strategy and roadmap on sustainable packaging infrastructure for MDLZ to be regulation ready and create value for business, consumers & customers.

This entails outlining technical recycling approach, SPIs, geographies, partners, investment required, and milestones.

Influence and lead industry coalitions in this space

to move from conceptual, pilot phase to broad scale adoption as ongoing, affordable business and consumer process.

Develop consumer engagement strategy to valorize packaging initiatives

through relevant claims, collaborate with partners to educate and motivate consumers to use system and recycle flexible films.

Support overall BU engagement and activation , facilitating monthly BU connects and best practice sharing, supporting BU agenda across pillars.

Support business integration and value creation

with focus on evolved governance and integration of Sustainability in existing processes; customer and brand engagement.

What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in:

Developing and implementing a sustainability strategy and program

across different areas, especially sustainable packaging.

Partnering with brands and business units

to drive business growth through sustainability programs.

Leadership roles in a sustainability platform

(e.g., formulating the business case and securing investment).

Expertise in Sustainable Packaging approaches

and related cutting‑edge innovation and technology.

More about this role What you need to know about this position:

15 years of experience. 10+ years of experience in Packaging.

Bachelor’s degree required.

FMCG (food manufacturing consumer good) industry experience.

Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $142,700 to $235,455; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long‑term incentive program.
