The overall functions of the
President and CEO of the Florence Crittenton Agency are : (a) To give direction, leadership, and the means to achieve the Agency’s mission, values, and visionary outcomes and expectations established by the board of directors; and (b) With the chair of the board, enable the board to fulfill the governance functions of policy development, planning, acquisition of financial resources, fiscal integrity, and evaluation of Agency outcomes. This position is hired by and will report to the board of directors. This position has the responsibility of being on call for the agency 24/7.
Essential Functions
Board Administration and Responsibilities : Supports operations and administration of Board by advising and informing directors, interfaces between directors and staff, and supports the Board’s evaluation of the Agency’s outcomes. Completing monthly financial reports, budget variances, and other reports imperative for successful operation of the organization.
Program and Service Delivery : Oversees design, licensure, marketing, promotion, delivery, and quality of programs and services that fulfill the mission of the Agency. Directly supervising the VP overseeing program operations. (This position is on call 24/7 for support and vital agency information that could put the agency at risk.)
Fiscal, Risk, and Facilities Management : Responsible for annual budget and prudently protects and manages the Agency’s resources.
Compliance Oversight : Assures regulatory compliance with Counsel for Accreditation (COA), Department of Children’s Service (DCS) and other regulatory agencies.
