Position Summary
Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. For more than a century, the company has been enabling engineering breakthroughs that lead to a better tomorrow. We are currently seeking a Marketing Intern for Summer 2026 to support our Hose Products Division headquarters in Wickliffe, OH. This individual will support the Marketing Department with key activities including marketing research and market intelligence, and will learn the fundamentals of how Parker defines and integrates marketing strategy into its growth initiatives.
Conduct Market Research
Conduct market research and market segmentation
Recommend actions and target messaging by analyzing and interpreting data
Effectively communicate and coordinate marketing projects to ensure continuity and success
Conduct competitive market analysis
Conduct research to aid in pricing strategy and developing new product value propositions
Qualifications
College Sophomore or higher working towards a degree in marketing, business, economics or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing experience or training
Experience using desktop publishing and/or graphics design software is a plus
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent strategic marketing aptitude, communication, presentation and organization skills
Possess thorough and complete thought process with strong problem‑solving skills
Basic understanding of business‑to‑business sales and manufacturing
Ability to grasp technical concepts and develop bulletins and product literature
