Position at Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. – Customer Service Representative in Mt. Prospect, IL. The role handles a broad range of Customer Service activities. Job Duties And Responsibilities

Communicates with customers by phone or in person to ensure best service, answers questions, investigates. Corrects errors in customer and company records, resolves complaints, special orders, or returns via phone or mail, provides information on pricing, changes in service, back orders, discontinuance and shipping. Processes purchase orders, investigates problems, processes corrections, creates and sends customer invoices. Supports sales by soliciting new or additional services/products, interviews customers to obtain information and explains available services. Coordinates service needs with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, addresses complaints concerning billing or services rendered, and refers complaints of service or product failure to appropriate departments for investigation. Determines product availability by checking stock; communicates availability to the supervisor. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Six months to one year of work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience/training. Effective time and resource management, strong organizational skills, effective communication and compliance with established policies and procedures. Excellent computer skills including Outlook and Excel. Pay Rate
