Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced
Director of Project Development
to lead
water and wastewater engineering projects
for municipal and industrial clients on the Water Market Team. This role combines
business development ,
project management , and
engineering leadership
to deliver innovative solutions for
treatment plants ,
pumping stations ,
pipelines , and related infrastructure. This is a client facing/business development strategic role for someone with municipal water construction market experience with project leadership and market relationships. Strong preference for candidates with Salt Lake City market experience.
Responsibilities
Lead
proposal development , pricing strategies, and client negotiations for
RFQs
and
RFPs
Oversee
project planning ,
design ,
permitting , and
construction support
Develop
procurement strategies ,
project schedules , and
cost estimates
Manage client relationships and pursue
repeat business opportunities
Provide leadership and mentorship to
engineering and project teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in related engineering or construction management field (e.g.,
Civil Engineering ,
Environmental Engineering ,
Mechanical Engineering , etc.)
10-15+ years
of experience in
municipal water/wastewater project management
Proven track record leading complex capital projects.
Deep experience with CMAR, Progressive Design-Build, and other collaborative delivery models.
Professional Engineer (PE) license
and/or DBIA Certification is a plus.
Proven success in
project management ,
proposal writing , and
public presentations
Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and negotiation skills
