Director of Operations & Safety
to lead and strengthen our organization's safety, emergency preparedness, and operational excellence efforts. This key leadership role serves as the organization's
Safety Officer
and is responsible for ensuring
compliance with OSHA, HRSA, and The Joint Commission standards
while developing and overseeing comprehensive emergency management programs. In addition, this role leads critical access functions—including
call center, front office, and mobile health —to improve patient access and system efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who is passionate about creating a safe, prepared, and high-performing healthcare environment while driving meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Position based at the 1st Choice Healthcare Operational Support Center in Pocahontas, AR
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Emergency Management, Public Health, Occupational Safety, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations and/or safety management.
Strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, HRSA, and CMS regulations.
Demonstrated experience improving operational efficiency and capacity utilization.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Basic Life Support certification required (CPR, PALS, ACLS provided as available).
This is a Safety Sensitive position (the use of a Medical Marijuana card is prohibited according to Act 593).
