Job Description As a Senior Portfolio Analyst on the Structured Products team, you will contribute to the management of a wide range of fixed income investment vehicles and strategies including Quality Income, Mortgage Opportunities, Strategic Income and Core Plus. Responsibilities include performing data analysis on performance, risk, market dynamics & opportunities, and portfolio construction. This role requires somebody who wants to go above and beyond and thrives in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with several portfolio managers, traders, and research analysts on short-term and long-term projects to ensure superior performance for our clients. To be most successful, you will need to blend curiosity, flexibility, and precision.

Responsibilities

Manage fundamental aspects of portfolio monitoring, such as drivers of performance, reporting, and risk monitoring.

Work with a broad set of partners to ensure portfolios operate smoothly and within guidelines.

Contribute to building portfolios by working with data, creating operational processes, and evaluating investment ideas.

Develop monitors, reports, and presentations for portfolio management, internal partners, and clients.

Become knowledgeable & proficient in several data and investment systems, such as Bloomberg, Excel, and BlackRock Solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

2-3 years experience

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with multiple teams and individuals at various levels.

Ability to combine superior problem-solving and analytical skills with effective communication of data-supported ideas.

Demonstrated interest in financial markets and concepts.

Technological aptitude with Microsoft Office, programming languages, and an ability to quickly learn specialized investment systems.

Proven intellectual curiosity

Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness, and a cooperative can-do attitude

In-Office Collaboration We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in‑office time or different in‑office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary The estimated base salary for this role is $100,000–$130,000 / year. We have a pay‑for‑performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives depending on the role.
