Mama Foundation for the Arts is excited to build a new support staff in coordination with its most recent three-year growth and sustainability business plan and is currently seeking an Artistic Programs & Creative Content Assistant. We are seeking a passionate and collaborative individual to support the Mama Foundation’s mission and springboard the organization into its next phase of growth.

About the Role The Artistic Programs & Creative Content Assistant will support the company needs of Mama Foundation, reporting to the Education Programs and Performance Operations Manager (EDPO Manager) and the Artistic Director, and working alongside company Leadership. These needs may include graphically designing promotional and administrative materials, capturing and producing content for social media, monitoring performance schedule and communications with booking clientele, organizing archival material, assisting with production set up for events, and providing personalized support for the artistic department.
The ideal candidate will:
Collaborate with the EDPO Manager to handle any pressing creative tasks or assist with the execution of performances/programming in their absence
Assist in social media and archival content capturing, organizing, and publication
Field and organize email and phone communications on bookings and programming
Complete additional administrative duties as instructed by Artistic Director and Assistant
Provide support in arts, education, programming, performances, special events and technical departments as well as additional tasks as assigned by other departments
The ideal candidate will have:
Graphic Design, photography, photo/video editing, and social media experience
Office administration, procedures, and scheduling experience.
Office experience with Mac computer skills and Microsoft programs and applications. Exemplary organization skills, a love for detail, and a talent for multitasking.
Ability to balance competing priorities while meeting deadlines and adapting to necessary changes along the way.
The position is a
part-time position
, up to $20 per hour, mutually agreed start date, and freelance contract flexibility. Employee assessment will take place monthly, concluding with the third month.
