The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager with deep payments expertise to help shape and scale Zuora’s

Payments business.

This is a highly strategic, GTM-focused role with broad visibility across the company. You’ll help define how we position our payments capabilities, bring new offerings to market, and build stronger awareness and credibility in the payments ecosystem.

You’ll partner closely with Product, Sales, and leadership to connect product innovation to market opportunity and help unlock new revenue streams for Zuora and our customers.

What You’ll Do Shape the Payments Story & Market Position

Develop clear, differentiated positioning for Zuora Payments

Translate complex payments capabilities into simple, outcome-driven value

Help establish Zuora as a credible, trusted partner in the payments space

Lead Strategic GTM Initiatives

Own go-to-market strategy for new payments capabilities and enhancements

Drive coordinated launches that build awareness and pipeline

Align cross-functional teams around a cohesive narrative and execution plan

Partner Deeply with Product & Leadership

Bring market, customer, and competitive insights into product strategy

Help inform roadmap, packaging, and monetization decisions

Act as a strategic partner—not just a downstream marketer

Build Market Awareness & Credibility

Increase visibility of Zuora Payments through launches, content, and storytelling

Support thought leadership and industry engagement

Contribute to how we show up with customers, partners, and analysts

Engage Customers & Unlock Growth

Work closely with customers to understand real-world payments challenges

Develop use cases, proof points, and stories that drive adoption

Support strategic deals and opportunities where strong positioning matters

About You

5–8+ years of Product Marketing experience, with strong domain expertise in payments

Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem (gateways, processors, global payments, authorization, fraud, etc.)

Proven ability to lead strategic GTM initiatives and influence cross-functional stakeholders

Strong positioning and storytelling skills—you can make complex systems feel intuitive and valuable

Experience partnering closely with Product and contributing to strategic decisions

Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels

Bonus Points

Experience in fintech, billing, or quote-to-cash platforms

Familiarity with global payments, compliance, or multi-entity environments

Background in consulting or other strategic roles

Location

Bay Area: Hybrid (3 days/week in Foster City)

Remote: Open, with occasional travel

About the Team You’ll join Zuora’s Product Marketing team, which sits at the intersection of

Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance . Our mission is to define how Zuora wins in the market and to equip our GTM teams with the stories, strategies, and tools they need to succeed.

Pay and Benefits Compensation This role offers a base salary range of $155,800 – $214,250 in our primary hiring locations, plus variable bonus. Actual compensation will be based on your

in line with local market benchmarks and Zuora’s internal compensation framework.

The base pay details represent the annualized salary range for the posted position. While we share a comprehensive range, a candidate’s final base salary will fall within these guidelines and will be determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to: qualifications of the candidate, job related knowledge, prior related experience, specific and unique skills, the location of the role, internal equity and internal budget.
