Position Overview
The Account Manager – client-facing role responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of telecommunications and low-voltage infrastructure projects.
This role combines technical design, estimating, project management, subcontractor management, and client relationship ownership into a single accountable position.
The Account Manager acts as the single point of responsibility for project scoping, engineering, estimating, subcontractor sourcing, execution, and client management.
This position requires an RCDD certification and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship & Account Ownership
Primary point of contact for EOUSA stakeholders nationwide
Maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Engineering & Design (RCDD-Level)
Develop telecom infrastructure designs (copper/fiber, pathways, TR/MDF layouts)
Produce BOMs, run sheets, and scope narratives
Ensure compliance with BICSI and EOUSA standards
Estimating & Proposal Development
Prepare detailed estimates including labor, materials, subs, and travel
Source and level subcontractor pricing nationwide
Develop proposals aligned with margin targets
Subcontractor Sourcing & Management
Build and maintain national subcontractor network
Prequalify, onboard, and manage subcontractors
Oversee execution and quality control
Project Management & Execution
Manage projects from award through closeout
Track budgets, schedules, risks, and change orders
Coordinate internal and external teams
Financial & Operational Accountability
Own GP% and cost control
Support billing and maintain project records
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with federal and EOUSA standards
Manage submittals, as-builts, and closeout documentation
Qualifications Required
RCDD Certification (mandatory)
5–10+ years in structured cabling / low voltage
Experience with estimating and project management
Experience managing multi-site or national accounts
Preferred
Federal/government contract experience
Familiarity with BICSI and TIA/EIA standards

Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $120K – $130K
Performance bonus tied to GP%, execution, and account growth
Reporting Structure Reports to the Director of the Telecom Business Unit. Works closely with procurement and accounting teams.
