Job Summary: Trimont is seeking a Executive Director, Lead Software Engineer in our team that supports technology for our Commercial Mortgage Servicing group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full stack design and development by following engineering best practices. The Lead Software Engineer will help enhance, build, and deliver frameworks and business application micro services.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for large-scale, enterprise-wide technology initiatives with significant organizational impact.
Serve as a principal architect in establishing and governing companywide standards and best practices for engineering sophisticated, high-impact technology solutions across multiple disciplines.
Oversee the end-to-end design, development, testing, debugging, and documentation of complex projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Evaluate and provide expert analysis of intricate, large-scale technology solutions, addressing both tactical and strategic business needs, and navigating unprecedented technical challenges and intangible factors.
Foster collaboration with senior technical leaders, cross-functional teams, and external industry partners to resolve critical technical issues and drive innovation.
Lead and mentor high-performing project teams, providing guidance and peer leadership to elevate technical expertise across the organization.
Champion operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance service delivery efficiency and strengthen business partner relationships.
Ensure rigorous adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards throughout all phases of technology delivery.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, to drive project momentum and accountability.
Deliver expert technical leadership in solving complex problems, with a focus on optimizing performance and maintaining robust security postures.
Direct incident and problem management activities, including incident triage, root cause analysis, and the development of long-term solutions.
Lead and contribute to Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives to ensure organizational resilience.
Navigate complex technology delivery landscapes, proactively managing risks and ensuring the successful achievement of all deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or higher
11+ years of Software Engineering experience, demonstrated through work experience
7+ years of experience leading a team of direct reports
7+ years of experience in C#, Web Forms, .NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core
7+ years of developing Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for building services
7+ years of experience in writing relational database queries
7+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence etc.
7+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design
5+ years of experience with Agile in a development environment
5+ years working in Azure Public Cloud Platform5+ years using Structured Query Language (SQL) Server or Oracle Database (DB)
Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial
Demonstrated capacity to achieve results in a dynamic setting.
Organizational and administrative skills that reflect attention to detail and the ability to prioritize efficiently.
Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
Handling workload and special projects efficiently.
