What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Assist customers inside and outside the U-Haul center with products and services

Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory

Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, and clean and inspect equipment

Answer customer inquiries and educate them about available services

Prepare rental invoices and manage the return of equipment

What is Required (Qualifications):

Valid driver’s license and a good driving record

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs

Willingness to work in environments with moderate risks or discomforts

Commitment to maintaining a nicotine-free status if residing in certain states

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Previous experience in customer service or similar roles

Familiarity with basic automotive or equipment maintenance

Certification or willingness to obtain certification for propane filling and forklift operation

Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
