Primary Purpose of the Position Modern Aviation is a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) that services private jets. As a Customer Service Representative, the candidate must represent the Modern Aviation brand by providing Seven Star Service to every person who enters the facility. This individual must take pride in offering the best in service, delivering all services with the highest standards, and always with a smile. The Customer Service Representative manages all customer requests without showing signs of stress or frustration, even under the most demanding of situations.

Essential Functions

Deliver proactive, personalized service to Private and Corporate Aviation clientele.

Arrange services including hotel, catering, and ground transportation.

Coordinate aircraft services such as fuel and hangar storage.

Input trip data into scheduling software and update customer information in the database as necessary.

Effectively communicate via air-to-ground radio, ground-to-ground radio, and other communication forms.

Educate customers on available services, promotions, and programs.

Process customer invoices.

Respond to customer questions and resolve issues as necessary.

Assist passengers and flight crews with our professional Seven Star Service, always offering additional services and exceeding expectations.

Build and establish relationships with local service providers such as hotels, rental car companies, and restaurants.

Maintain lobby appearance and keep snacks and beverages stocked.

Track flights via online databases to ensure timely services.

Perform other duties that may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have open availability as work schedules vary.

Primary shift is 2pm-10:30pm, including weekends.

Valid driver’s license.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.

Ability to make fast decisions using judgment consistent with company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations.

Negotiation and sales skills.

Reliable multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous customer service experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of various aircraft types and servicing a plus.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

FLSA Status:

This position is nonexempt.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Various tasks are performed in all types of weather conditions.

Travel:

This position requires no travel.

Physical Requirements:

Physically able to perform frequent walking, sitting, stooping, stretching, bending, reaching, and grasping actions. While performing duties, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and humid conditions, extreme heat or cold, and occasional loud noise. May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
