R-0010252**Job Description Summary**Analyze credit proposals and customer characteristics to determine credit worthiness and appropriate terms for approval in accordance with policies and risk appetite.**Job Description*****Please note: This role is not eligible for immigration Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.*****Job Summary**The individual will be responsible for conducting credit risk assessments on loan portfolios within Raymond James Bank (“RJB”) and TriState Capital Bank (“TSCB”). Reviewable entities include Commercial Lending (CRE, REIT and C&I), Private Bank Lending and Shared National Credits (“SNC”). This will include a review of loans based on risk assessment findings as part of the Bank’s continuous monitoring program.Each loan under review will be evaluated for adherence to the Bank’s credit underwriting standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulatory requirements, including completeness of documentation/files.\*This is a hybrid role which requires in-office presence, three days a week.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**• Develop quantitative analysis to assess credit risk at the portfolio level.• Perform independent loan reviews to evaluate the creditworthiness of the borrower.• Analyze financial statements and other required data provided in the credit file to ensure that risk rating is appropriate and upgrades/downgrades are done in a timely manner in line with banks policies/procedures and regulatory requirements.• Discuss all noted deficiencies and identified weaknesses, and any existing or planned corrective actions, including timeframes for correction, with appropriate loan officers and managers.• Assist in preparing reports summarizing portfolio quality and risk issues with recommended corrective action.• Maintain a level of understanding of credit risk policies/requirements, regulatory expectations and contribute to improving effectiveness and efficiency of the credit risk analysis processes/methodologies.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**• Strong credit skills along with experience in Corporate Lending (CRE, REIT, C&I) and/or Private Bank Lending (Residential Mortgages, Securities Based Loans and/or Structured Loans).• Financial statement analysis including comprehensive understanding of balance sheet, income statement and cash flow drivers impacting critical credit risk metrics.• Experience in evaluating or assigning risk ratings.• Knowledge of regulatory definitions and classifications of loans.• Working knowledge of lending practices, policies, procedures, disclosures and terminology related to banking laws, regulatory requirements and legal documents.• Well-developed interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively, clearly and persuasively in a variety of settings, formats and audiences.• Strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and ability to execute quickly, timely and efficiently.• Ability to multi-task and decide key priorities with confidence, motivation, decisiveness and flexibility.• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and manage competing priorities across the organization.**Educational/Previous Experience Requirements**• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance with at least seven (7) years of experience in CRE or C&I lending, credit/loan review and/or similar position requiring strong business knowledge and credit judgment.**Education**Bachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Finance**Work Experience**General Experience - 6 to 10 years**Certifications**Other Certification Not Listed - Other**Travel**Less than 25%**Workstyle**HybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
