Description Who We Are Looking For:

Are you the Director of Adolescent Residential Services we have been looking for? In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the senior team to ensure the operations of all residential services!

Berkshire Meadows, located in Great Barrington offers multiple services and programs for individuals with complex and significant medical, intellectual and developmental differences. Programs include a 365-day-a-year residential school for students between the ages of 6 and 21, residential and day habilitation programs for adults, and 24/7 nursing and medical services. Berkshire Meadows operates both in community settings and at a beautiful campus with state-of-the-art equipment and therapy animals, as well as a fully accessible indoor pool.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is

$85,000

to

$95,000

per

year . The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

JRI Provides The Training So That:

YOU will plan and coordinate services, monitor compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the program.

YOU will implement the program’s policies and procedures and allocate resources and program planning.

YOU will monitor, evaluate and supervise service delivery according to MassHealth regulations, DDS regulations, CARF and JRI organizational policies and procedures, goals and objectives.

YOU will provide administrative and program oversight to insure services effectively address the assessed needs of the individuals and insure those needs are treated through an active treatment plan developed by an interdisciplinary team.

YOU will coordinate referrals for program admission and for service changes.

YOU will ensure that adequate, qualified and trained staff are available at all required by regulations and provide services consistent with needs of the individuals.

YOU will provide oversight and coordination of the clinical and ancillary services required to appropriately plan and provide active treatment to all individuals in the program clinical resources.

YOU will enlist consumer, family and guardian input into service development, implementation and evaluation.

YOU will oversee staff in appropriate care, treatment and physical intervention, including crisis prevention techniques.

Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older.

Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field from an accredited college or university required. Master's degree preferred.

Must have at least three years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

A minimum of two years supervisory and administrative experience.

Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and electronic platforms).

Knowledge of the needs of the populations served and understanding of the range of care and treatment required.

Must be available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.

Maintain valid driver’s license.

Background and driving record checks will be performed.
