Department Overview

Schedule:
Hours are flexible with some consistent on‑site time each week but also the ability to work independently off‑site. 10‑20 hours total per week.

Minimum: $15.00 Maximum: $17.00

Qualifications We are looking for an energetic and engaged/engaging student with an interest or major in life sciences, marketing/PR/communications or a related field. Student will be asked to provide writing/work samples related to position duties.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to prioritize and execute a wide variety of assignments and tasks using a variety of technological platforms for project management, email marketing, and data/analytics
Strong graphic design skills to support our social media, direct mail, e-newsletters, and print magazine
Creative thinking combined with ability to see big picture goals and help advance strategic priorities of our highly‑regarded school and veterinary teaching hospital
Being self‑motivated and an independent thinker while collaborating effectively with a wide variety of people and teams
Solid photography, videography, and writing skills are strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with social media content and platform management
Graphic design experience
Photography/videography experience
Proven ability to learn and utilize a variety of technological platforms/software programs
Experience in data management and analysis a plus
Position Summary/Job Duties
Design marketing materials including flyers, brochures, e-newsletters, and magazine articles
Assist with generating social media ideas and content
Support communications team on website, email marketing and other platforms
Support communications team with project management and traffic of projects
Assist with management of brand assets including logos, photos, videos
