As the Training Specialist III/Content Creator at our Melbourne Headquarters, you’ll provide content development and training experience and skills in subject matter expertise, instructional design, communication skills training, sales training, writing, editing, visual design, technical proficiency with authoring tools, audience analysis, adaptability and analytics skills. Collaborate to effectively develop engaging and informative training materials that meet the needs of learners, the SCCU Learning & Development department and SCCU business objectives.

Travel to and from Operations Centers to deliver organizational training initiatives.

Identifies the company's target audience and develops content goals and strategies to reach them; researches what type of content would appeal to SCCU Members, Leaders, and Team Members. Creates deliverables, including images, and videos that enhance the user experience.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams and decision-makers to develop and launch content items.

Responsible for the design, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing maintenance of classroom and online training solutions; measures and evaluates the effectiveness of training across all training modalities. Designs intuitive navigation structures that provide a logical flow of information for the user.

Facilitates sales training and other professional development training as needed via a group setting, virtual webinar/teleconference as well as one-on-one.

Determines and implements best delivery methods and approaches for materials; conducts front end analysis to determine user needs and assess performance gaps.

Builds and maintains strong relationships with all departments to determine training needs and to obtain feedback on training effectiveness.

Tracks and maintains learning pathways for all SCCU Team Members. Partners with department leaders and Human Resources department to determine development opportunities available.

Ensures the quality of training materials including outlines, job aids, work instructions, classroom materials, on-the-job training guides, e-learning modules, posters, hand‑outs, infographics, videos, quizzes and worksheets.

Maintains knowledge of current training techniques: researches optimal ways to promote SCCU internal training; conducts training sessions for the training department for adoption of new training platforms, software, or interactive elements.

Reviews organizational data and measures and identifies recommendations to improve Team Member skills through development and delivery of technical training workshops.

Research learning industry trends, methodologies, and best practices and integrate those into the professional practice of the department.

Become involved in and supports organizational initiatives that contribute to SCCU operational improvement and Team Member professional development and career.

Maintaining version control and quality assurance standards in the Learning Management System (LMS) progression.

Training Specialist III – Content Creator Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

3-5 years’ content creation/development experience

and

sales training experience.

Content Creator Experience Required.

Instructional design and curriculum development experience, support effort to transform training delivery and execution methods; experience with Adobe Captivate; using content management systems (CMS), Basic HTML, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Experience in Curriculum Development/Instructional Design, and storyboarding for eLearning or multimedia content, experience developing high quality interactive eLearning modules.

Work Schedule

Full Time, 40 hours a week, during Department hours of operation

Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Flex Scheduling and Work From Home Hybrid options available.

Work From Home requires Team Members to be in office twice a week.

Travel will be required to and from the Miramar Operations center to the Melbourne Headquarters.

Roughly 30% travel needed to fulfill training classes.
